I’ve always wanted to write. Much like most writers, I used to write little stories from as young as 7/8 years old. By the age of 15, my stories had featured in most school newsletters. By the age of 21, I had written multiple (very embarrassing) articles for my university newspaper.
Before I knew it though, life got in the way, I had to find a real job and give up hobbies in favour of sleeping in between shifts and house work. 4 years on, married and trying to conceive, I’ve decided to break my habitual lifestyle in favour of my first love, writing.
This blog is almost coming from a place of regret… so many wonderful things happened last year, I wish I had’ve captured them in writing sooner! So, to avoid falling back into my old lifestyle, I have made a new years resolution. One blog- every week- for a year (with the motivational support of my wife, of course!).
When more events kick off in relation to conceiving Baby McG, we will most likely start recording our journey on YouTube as a visual diary. However, as it stands, this is our little progress record; a way to connect with a wider community and tell our story in the way we know best.
Blog posts will usually be posted on weekends, please let us know if there is a specific topic you would be interested to hear about!
